We, the Safesmiths, do not consider ourselves mere boffer weapon makers. We are artists whose medium happens to be foam and tape, sealant and paint. Who are we kidding? We are Boffersmiths! We enjoy the crafting of boffer weapons, and other items used in Live-Action Role Playing (LARP) or theater productions.

All of our items are created with care, and we hope that our customers become friends. We will deal with each of you as if you were close friends, and we encourage you to ask questions. We will be giving weapon construction classes at all of the Cons we attend, and will share with any one who asks the steps of making a basic safe and fun LARP weapon or other safe prop. We feel that when you purchase from us, it is not because you need a weapon, but because you like us, and the work of art we have produced.

All the Safesmiths have many years of craft experience. We have made every weapon or form of armor used for LARPing at some point in time. In the future look for Safesmiths to add more crafters and inventory to the list of safe items we offer. Shields, so-called "gwarmor" (stylized rubber armor with a light backing), leather items, and other fun stuff will appear on the Safesmiths page, and at our Con booths.
